If you were following along last week you noticed that we looked a bit at some of the Google operators. sit: and allintitle: Today I'll introduce you to another operator - "all in text" You can use this operator by going to www.google.com and typing in allintext: followed by your keyword phrase. What will result is a ranking of sites just based on the text they have on their website.
We are teaching adwords to real estate agents in seattle soon, so we'll use the keyword phrase, "seattle real estate" for our example.
1. Go to Google.com
2. In the search bar type: allintext: seattle real estate.
3. Look for your site among the results.
Below is a snapshot of the Google results page that I see for allintext: seattle real estate
If you don't see your site listed in the top 10 then head over to your site and do a little editing. Be sure to add you primary keyword phrase in HTML in the first paragraph of your homepage. Use it on other pages throughout your site. Wait for Google to crawl your site and see what results.
